0. Back to basics

I feel somewhat anxious writing this, mainly because this is the first newsletter of my first blog, and I haven't posted anything online in over a year. I think my anxiousness stems from some self-imposed pressure to make this post "special;" however, as a recovering perfectionist, I want to eschew this all together.

It's simple, really: I love to make things. I'm starting this newsletter because (1) I believe sharing my work regularly will help keep me accountable to creating daily (which makes me happy), and (2) because I hope it will help me find and build a community of inspiring people who share my interest in using design to improve our lives, communities, and the world.

My goal is to regularly share whatever I'm working on, regardless of whether it is "ready to show." My goal at the end of each project will be to create a small production batch of units, which will be made available for sale to subscribers of my newsletter.
